The sun came out today, as you can see in this picture above. Billowy clouds filled the blue sky, and made for quite a few moments of us just starting this way and that at the beautiful day before us. Madison hit the day at school with energy and excitement, and laughs - she had a funny "directions" sheet that her class had to follow, one that everyone got wrong because everyone did what each number said on the sheet, but didn't read the directions at the top. This cracked her up time and again, and no doubt she'll be bringing it up more and more.
Meanwhile, Mommy was terrorizing the peppers:
This poor pepper is really upset about something! We had dinner tonight, and we did some work for KidPak as well. Daddy is gearing up for another round of Star Wars at KidPak, so we'll see how that goes. We're thinking of having a twi'lek on stage, which would be something new. We'll see how things go, but we're definitely having visitors from the 501st, including two stormtroopers, a sand trooper, a Jawa, a jedi, and R2-D2 as well. It's going to be a solid kick-off!
Tonight, it rained again. Yep, more rain. It was isolated, but just funny that we had such a great blue sky sort of day, and yes, that rain came back again. We looked at the radar, and it was this tiny blip directly over us. But it's just amazing how much it has rained this summer.
Anyway, tonight we were at Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, which is a nice movie actually. Madison picked this one, and we all sat together, still munching on some of that leftover all-you-can-eat popcorn from Stone Mountain.
We read tonight, from comic books and from the devotional, and from the Hostile Hospital. After prayers, we were asleep rather quickly. It's been a big week!
