Still Flying High

And here we are again - Madison was given her sixth and final "High Flyer" award this morning at Chestatee Elementary School.  For the sixth time, Mommy and Daddy were on hand in the school cafeteria to see her honored, along with all the other children of course.

The kids were excited, of course.  Each class has two kids that are nominated, and at 8:30 am, the kids all head to the cafeteria to get their awards.  This award was given for Madison's "everything is possible" attitude, which is pretty cool.  Here's the entire fifth grade winner's roster:

Daddy was taking more pictures than usual because of the yearbook thing.  Tomorrow will be nice because Daddy will not be at the school.  It's been every day this week, so we're getting used to the place.  This morning, we dropped off a bunch of Madison's earliest books to the library here, as she's not really using them anymore.  Already, she's going through the books from the Book Fair.  That's keeping her busy.

Daddy was busy at work in the meantime, getting ready for the last Master Builders service for a while.  This was a good series, and tonight it ended with a movie message, with us showing four clips from "The LEGO Movie."

In the meantime, Madison had her enrichment class, where she's still working on artwork related to the yearbook.  She loves art, as you'll see again tomorrow.  She's having a great time at school this year, although it's certainly keeping her busy.  Still, she can handle it:  she's a high flyer!
