It was a work day for Daddy at the office - until he made a trip with Mommy to look for a grey sweatshirt. These are easy to find in the winter time, but when it is 100 degrees outside, not so much. Still, we had tremendous luck when we went to Goodwill first: Mommy found exactly what we needed, and much cheaper than from a sporting goods store.
That's the completely random picture above: Madison in Goodwill. We have an Operation game where you apparently reach into a patient's skull to find things to drag out. This seems a few too many levels of disturbing, so we put a random Darth Vader mask over the Operation guy's head. Madison sits here, proudly displaying our creation.
What are the sweatshirts for? They're for our weightlifting message this weekend, which you've seen hints of here on the blog in the past few weeks, most notably here. Well, Sunday is the big day where we'll actually have a bodybuilder in here, bringing in some of his weights and a bench to add to the stage for a special service. On top of that, Daddy and his friend Lance will be dressing up as Hans and Franz for a pretty fun skit. It's basically taking jokes from the old SNL skit, but it should be fun, especially for those who haven't seen it before!
