Steak 'n Shake

Whoa! It got cold in a hurry outside. The weather outside is frightful, but inside it's sure delightful. The only thing we're missing is snow. We're sitting inside watching a Winnie the Pooh Christmas special, while listening to the wind howl and rage outside. Brrrr!

Today we visited Doc Williams again, and boy was that funny! Madison cracks everyone up when she's there, with heartfelt belly laughs as he gives her adjustments on the table. She's got the routines still memorized, and is still enchanting everyone there. She laughs so hard, and it is infectuous!

Afterwards, we decided to go to dinner at a place we hadn't been in a while. In fact, this was Madison's first time here:

We ate at Steak 'n Shake tonight, where everyone split one of their incredible Egg Nogg Milkshakes. This is a treat that comes highly recommended! We had a big meal there too, and Madison cleaned her plate of everything - she was hungry! She wore the hat the entire meal, and Daddy put together the car for her (which she's taken home with her - it's sitting next to her on the couch as she watches Pooh).

Afterwards, we went to Parson's again, just as we did last year. It was nice! Madison was looking at Nutcrackers in wonder still, and then of course there was the tour of the Christmas villages that were set up. Trains moved about, ice skaters danced and sleds moved down tiny hills as Daddy and Madison looked on. There were tiny Christmas lights, carolers, and decorations all over the snow village. Madison enjoyed it, and really liked the Nativity sets too. They have some really nice stuff over there.

But right now, it's time to finish watching Pooh. The movie is called "Pooh's Super Sleuth Christmas Movie," and I think everyone is trying to rescue a reindeer. After that, Mommy and Daddy have a lot of Christmas cards to fill out...
