Christmas Reading

Mommy has been hard at work, sewing in the dining
room a multitude of costumes. But Daddy is still able
to be with her - last week, we purchased a great looking
hard cover (and unabridged) copy of the book,
"A Christmas Carol." Tonight, Daddy actually read the
entire booklet out loud to Mommy as she worked.
It was really neat to see all the things taken from the
book and inserted into various movies. I think the
most faithful version so far might be the one
with Patrick Stewart, which is one of our favorites.

Today, Madison accompanied Mommy to various
shopping destinations for fabrics and whatnot.
Her eye is looking much better, which is good news.

MADISON'S BOOK CLUB
This morning
we read a few
Christmas
books
together,
amongst
them was
a copy of
"Little Miss
Spider:
A Christmas
Wish."
We have
a few Christmas books for Madison, but we had fun with this
one this morning because of all the bright colors and simple
rhyme scheme. Madison and Mommy like Little Miss Spider, though Daddy tends to have a bit of arachnophobia with
large, yellow spiders. This one is a cute spider though, so I
kept the bug spray out in the garage out of sight. The story is cute, and Madison enjoys the pictures too, so it is a worthy
addition to the Christmas book list. Madison has several
Christmas books now, some we've collected at Goodwill, and others found at that great book shop five miles from the
Florida border. They're all good. I might just do a Madison's book club from this point on now, actually - just showing all the neat Christmas books you can pick up.

Can't wait to read one tomorrow!
