Jingle Bells

This is a nice picture above, of some of Madison's favorite characters. There is a Christmas-themed episode of "Lilo & Stitch," but I think we'll have to watch that tomorrow on the computer on a movie-sharing site or something. Until then, Madison has had a lot of different Christmas movies to choose from: Winnie the Pooh, Eloise, Higgly Town Heroes, Jo-Jo the Clown, Veggie Tales, Hermie, Barney, My Pretty Pony, the Care Bears, Angelina Ballerina, Barbie, Snoopy and even the Mickey Mouse Club. The list could go on and on though - we've been collecting Christmas DVDs for years now. My recommendation is still to avoid the Care Bears.

Daddy might actually watch the Star Wars holiday episode for the first time this year. I've got a copy of it somewhere, and haven't seen the thing yet. I've heard it is awful, but it's almost like a historical artifact now. We'll have to watch it after Madison goes to bed, although I doubt there's anything harmful in it. Then again, it could be so utterly bad that she has bad memories because of it!

ANYWAY, it was a big work day today, especially for Mommy. Seeing the lights on the way home put us in a festive mood. Madison starts singing, "Jingle Bells," all on her own. Her rendition is pretty funny: she sings in her own way,

"Oh what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh... ...HEY!!!"

Today, Mommy costumed many of the people involved in the Christmas play. It was an easier task this time than it was for AD33 last spring, mainly because most of the people are wearing standard Bible costumes (a robe, a vest).

Madison had a great time meeting everyone again and brining smiles to their faces. She loves playing with all the kids, and for tonight, she was just happy as can be to drive around in her favorite little car. She packs everything inside it with her for her big trip, and roams down the long hallways of the church like she's on a big vacation. Road trip!

You can hear her coming down the hallway: "Jingle bells, jingle bells..."
