Christmas Cookies

Madison got to spend a lot of time with Ye-Ye and Nana tonight, and together they did something very fun. In fact, Daddy is kind of jealous: they made Christmas cookies!

At least Mommy and Daddy got to try some, and boy were they yummy! Tonight, Mommy and Daddy were heavily involved in the Christmas play practice to the point where we had Madison with Ye-Ye and Nana, where it would be more fun.

Truth be told, Madison has a bad spell of pink eye, which is somewhat contageous. We didn't want that to spread any further. We picked up the medication from the pharmacy without even having to go to the doctor's office (it's going around apparently, and anyone who calls up a doctor and uses the word "conjunctivitis" apparently knows what's going on).

Madison thinks the eyedrops tickle, which is a funny little process. We've managed so far to make this as painless as possible. Fortunately, Mommy has a quick eye for symptoms in children. Her experience as a nanny caught this one before it got any more serious.

For now though, it's time to get to bed. But before that, I think I'm going to sneak a Christmas cookie and some milk. Ho, ho, ho!
