Yesterday, she swatted Leia with it. That's Nana and Ye-Ye's dog. Presumably, she was wanting to turn her into the footman for a magical coach. This did not happen, and Leia didn't seem anxious to keep trying!
It was a quiet day, just what we needed. Daddy did some work, while Madison worked on her letters using a puzzle that has each letter on it. Patiently, Mommy and Madison worked through all the letters - and pictures of what each letter stands for. You always get to X-ray and have a tough time explaining that one. Why not xylophone?
Another fun thing Madison did today was play with her Cheerio books. You know those books with the little places on each page to put your Cheerios? She rediscovered these books and had a blast putting all her Cheerios in place - then quickly eating them. Madison and Daddy love cereal - in fact, Daddy had some Booberry cereal this morning (Mommy makes sure she gets that for him each October).
We had plenty of jam session time today - that's where the whole family listens to music in the kitchen and dances together. We listened to the Prairie Home Companion and danced in a circle in the kitchen, going round and round. Madison was anxious to let her Cabbage Patch Kid join us though. Mommy held one hand of the doll, while Madison held the other - and we made an even bigger circle as we danced about.
I am so glad we don't have a picture of that!
