A Dining Room

We have a new dining room table, and therefore a new dining room!  Pretty exciting stuff.  Mom ordered this table for Thanksgiving, but it will be nice past that of course.  It just makes the room look so good, doesn't it?  We're getting ready for Thanksgiving.  In fact, check out some of our neighbors and their special Thanksgiving decorations!

Speaking of Turkey Day, this morning I was walking along on the treadmill for my Thanksgiving walk, and while doing that virtual path I was actually watching maybe the greatest television episode with a Thanksgiving theme.  If you know about the WKRP Turkey Drop episode, then you know the one I'm talking about.  A few years ago, Mom got me a t-shirt with that logo on it, and I just love it. 

We're nearly done with the tree in the main room, but I did run out of steam there while decorating - we'll finish it tomorrow with icicles, the tree skirt and the topper of course.  We were watching a few movies tonight while Maddie was at Nate's and taekwondo afterwards.  One of those movies was a New Romantic comedy, "Joy to the World," which was pretty fun.  Suddenly we're into predictable Christmas romantic comedies.

It was a pleasant evening.  But I'm definitely coming down with something.  Hopefully nothing too bad.  Regardless, I made sure to read to Maddie and Mom tonight, a little more from "Hogfather," and then we said our prayers.  Time for some sleep after that.
