Another fun day at KidPak in November! I just thought this month I wanted to have turkeys, pilgrims and Indians - and apparently corn people too. So that's why we had yet another completely random skit here that told the Bible story of Paul and Silas being thrown into prison, a story of how praise and worship loosened those chains. It was a fun morning, which you can see some of via Maddie's pictures below, just a few of the ones that she shared on the church site.
Fun day today. We got home and I managed to get all those nutcrackers up on the shelves there, looking nicely arranged. Quite a few of them of course. Mom and I watched "Miracle on 34th Street" tonight, and earlier on we were grocery shopping, getting ourselves a lot of Thanksgiving groceries for the big dinner. I also got some ingredients for some cranberry dressing I plan on making from a recipe with the virtual Thanksgiving run. Should be fun putting all that together.
Mom and I also went out on a date of sorts to Texas Roadhouse, getting a nice lunch there with some gift cards. It was super packed, but we got in quickly and got our food very fast too. It was a nice time there together.
Tonight we read a bit from "Hogfather" when Maddie got home. She spent some time with Nate today and got back later on in the evening. We said our prayers together and were off to sleep fairly quickly!
