Dress Rehearsal

Tonight was the big dress rehearsal for our Easter production, and everything is going fairly smooth!  Mom was suiting up all our dancers and actors, and getting props for everyone too.  Meanwhile, I was dressed as James, coordinating apostles and Palm Sunday runners... there's this fun moment where we're all running out the back of the auditorium and all over as mentioned previously.  

Maddie did a quick film of us running by - you can see the donkey in there too!  I have a few pictures here of Maddie, Mom and I, and then most of the people involved in the production, a nice big shot of everyone posing on stage.

And as I said, Maddie was there tonight.  She passed up on taekwondo and got to see the dress rehearsal, and of course we went through things twice, so she also had the camera with her to take all kinds of pictures of not only the production, but some fun backstage pictures as well. 

 

This was the big part of our day, these rehearsals tonight.  Maddie did a fantastic job with these photos, didn't she?  This is just a part of them too.  It was a good night.  Mom is up late doing laundry - bloody clothing, as you can imagine.  Not real blood, of course.

We were watching the latest X-Men '97 episode while laundry was being done, but soon after it was time for bed, certainly.  That's because our first production is tomorrow at noon on Good Friday.  Maddie has school too - it'll be a busy day. 

Today was a busy day for Maddie beyond the rehearsals.  She had three tests as well.  Tomorrow will be busy at church, but hopefully Maddie can chill a little more going into this weekend.
