This morning, Madison's boots were filled with candy, so she must have been good this year! But it seems like Krampus left her something as well: an Emperor Palpatine Pez Dispenser, and a Emperor Palpatine Tsum-Tsum. This December, Madison keeps getting a Tsum-Tsum each morning. It's like "25 Days of Tsum Tsums." She wanted a few for Christmas, but at this rate, it appears as if she'll be getting at least twenty-five!
Take a look at this. Daddy had one of these growing up, so when Mommy picked one up a few years ago, we were excited to try it out again. Years later, we pulled it out of the basement today to show Madison a bit of Christmas science: the heat rises, and gets the propellors up top spinning, which in turn causes the figures on the carousel moving in circles. They actually move pretty fast. It's a neat Christmas decoration, and as you can see above, it looks great by the tree.
Tonight it was Wednesday night service. We watched the KidPak Tribes Christmas special at church tonight, along with some Christmas music as well. Mommy and Daddy had been working today, getting things ready for Sunday still. We have another chapter in our version of "A Christmas Carol," and of course "Christmas in Color" too.
Madison had her enrichment class today, a return to her photography class. She's been taking pictures, and they're going on a drive that we'll be able to see pretty soon. She's anxious to show us what she's been doing, but all along she's been learning about using a camera. Meanwhile, we're working on getting her a camera for Christmas. We'll see how that goes, but we have a good lead for a pretty nice camera.
This morning, Mommy and Daddy figured the best way to take in all these Christmas movies is to watch a few in the morning. We watched "Christmas in Connecticut" while wrapping presents, and just had a nice morning together. So far, we're doing well with getting stuff, wrapping it, and so forth. We even have a great game plan for the cards. Mommy has the envelopes already filled out, and we're getting close to having the cards scored, folded, and sent off.
It's a busy week, but we're making time to do some fun stuff, and we've got a few days to go to squeeze in some more Christmas fun!
