"11" days until Christmas! The only thing missing from the photo above is a Three Musketeers bar. This was a festive little display that seems to be more for Mommy and Daddy than Madison, who actually hasn't seen anything from "Stranger Things" yet. That might be a few years from now, as it's somewhat creepy.
Madison had ballet tonight, as well as jazz, so it was a longer night tonight for her. Meanwhile, Mommy picked up Daddy, and the two of us went on a little bit of a date night. We went for pizza to Maddio's, and then to Midland Station Coffee for some hot chocolate. We picked up Madison afterwards, and got back in time to watch a Christmas special: "Olaf's Frozen Adventure."
We've been getting our Christmas cards in the mail, by the way. We sent our own ones out early in the week, and now we keep getting some from all over, including England and Canada. Madison's Christmas artwork is going out all over, overseas and up north.
Oh, and one new tidbit: the Marine Science Center sent us the summer camp schedule early, as Madison was involved last year. That might be a fun Christmas present for Madison this year, a "ticket" to go to camp again. She really wants to return, so that will be a nice moment when she finds out she's going back.
Madison has been making paper snowflakes with her new book as a guide. They're all over the kitchen table now, along with the advent calendar, and the new Tsum Tsums, about fourteen of them so far. Each morning, she's been getting a new one. Today's was Eeyore, and in honor of the lava yesterday, there was an Anakin Skywalker lurking under the tree.
We'll see what tomorrow is. It's Friday, and we're getting closer to Christmas... just eleven days!
