Meat Pies

We finally got to try some meat pies from the Australian Bakery Cafe today!  The place has unusual hours, and in fact is typically closed on Mondays, when we are usually in the area.  So it never has worked out.  Until today!  Today we got to sample some meat pies, some ginger beer, and some Australian candy as well.  Fantastic news:  they like Crunchy bars in Australia too.  This means there's a place a lot closer that sells Crunchy bars.  We got a few for Mommy!

We were there in Cumming because of an appointment with our "Creepy Chiropractor."  We got him this sign several years ago, and it still goes up each October.  This is because he's a big Halloween fan.  His entire office is decorated with webs and orange and black lights, and of course all kinds of skeletons.  Madison loves her visits to the chiropractor, and still giggles a lot all throughout an adjustment.  It's hilarious!

She's been testing today again.  It was an early release day, but she was testing again regardless.  It's been so many tests for her this week and last.  Some tests were make-up tests for tests that she couldn't take because she was testing!

As insane as that sentence reads, it's true.

Anyway, she's been doing piano practice, mainly because she'll be busy this week with other things. Daddy had KidPak tonight, which went really well of course.  But before going off to KidPak, we read some more of the Bungalow Mystery, which is winding down.  We know who did it, and now it's time to catch the culprits!  This has been an exciting book, one Madison keeps begging us to read one more chapter of.

We said our prayers, thankful for so many things today, including bungalow mysteries, chiropractors, and meat pies.  And I suppose even tests.  These tests could determine a whole lot relatively soon...
