Here's the new series artwork I'm having AI create for a KidPak series in June about "Heroes." I'm really angling in on the "Bible Heroes" part of that, and the look that I'm going for on the inside is based on Disney Infinity, as you can see above. That's a Daniel character made to look somewhat like a Disney Infinity figure, although he's probably a lot more detailed and the lion makes the platform much bigger. Still, it's a pretty cool figure. I've made one for Hannah, for Gideon, for Samuel, for David, for Moses, for Esther, and for Jesus as well. We got one message done at the moment, one Sunday message for Gideon. I'll hopefully get some energy to do the rest of this during the week. But today was pretty tiring.
Easter is come and gone. It's a day of rest today, the day after Easter and a day where we accomplished very little pretty much. I got a few things done scanning and getting some pictures taken for onboard registration I'm doing this upcoming Thursday. The cruise is coming up soon!
So is the end of Maddie's public school career - just ten more days to go, almost gone. Oh, and another thing that's gone: Hoppy Hollow. Like the mystical town of Brigadoon, the happy little bunny town with all its rabbit inhabitants disappears into the mists, leaving no trace behind, only to reemerge some time next year before Easter.
Another thing that's gone: the Pope. Our current Pope passed away today, and this was after a lengthy battle with various ailments. The final cause of death was a stroke, but again, he's been in serious condition for some time now and this sort of thing was expected. Mom wants to watch "The Conclave" again, just because of the timing of all this. They rolled the Pope out yesterday for an Easter blessing, and got him in the Popemobile, and he even met the Vice President. Perhaps this was a bit too much? Regardless, a Conclave is indeed assembling and the residents are looking for the black or white cloud of smoke emerging from the chimney. It's all a fascinating history.
One final thing that's gone: today. Maddie had a good bit of homework tonight, but we did find time to read from "Carpe Jugulum," and of course we said our prayers. It was a restful day. Hopefully tomorrow will be one too!
