Icy Barnstormer

 

Spongebob's has had some grades this week too, and well... they're below sea level.  Of course, that could be anything, right?  At least there are some gummy Krabby patties there to snack on later.

Mom had this little snack for me this morning - it was actually a gift from some of our friends, a pastry that they made.  Mom sliced it up and drizzled some icing on top of it for a delicious treat!  It was a nice day today for all of us as we slept in.  Maddie did her advent calendars, and finally we have the LEGO Emperor there in all his glory, complete with a fashionable Christmas sweater and the mug that probably says, "Galaxy's Best Emperor."  

This afternoon we had an appointment with Santa... at the chiropractor, at least.  It was all decked out, including this animatronic Santa that was inside our room.  Maddie couldn't resist a picture with Buc-ee, who is keeping her company wherever she goes.

As we waited, we had our usual games, including the "Dollywood Elf Name" game... Maddie's name is Icy Barnstormer.  Mom's name is Funny FireChaser, and mine is Smoky Gingerbread!  After the chiropractor, we treated ourselves to a great meal at Texas Roadhouse, and yes, Buc-ee was along for the trip.

We got back in time to drop Mom off at home, and I dropped Maddie off at FCY for the final service of the year, a Christmas party of sorts with chicken, Christmas music, the cup game, and even a different Nativity scene!

I was watching "Merry Little Batman," which is a great new Christmas movie that Maddie will have to watch in a bit.  For now, we got back late from FCY, did a little Christmas wrapping.  But it was late - we made sure we spent time reading, and then after that, it was time for prayers.  The entourage went down the hall, and everyone got tucked in for a good night's rest!
