Strike It Rich

What a fun treat!  Mommy was determined to make her own version of Ghiardelli's "Strike it Rich" right here in the house.  And while it wasn't exactly the same sort of ice cream treat, it sure was delicious!

Today was our busy day, with ballet and piano and of course school.  Not much time left on school, is there?  Just a few weeks left of kindergarten, and we're once again left scratching our heads, wondering where the time went.  These are the fun weeks of school though, aren't they?  Not much accomplished, I'm figuring!  Madison has her yearbook, and is still doing some writing exercises.  She's also an enthusiastic reader, which Daddy is thrilled to find.  She volunteers to read our library books that we've picked out, and reads a lot of the stuff she'll see on the television too.  She reads things outside the car while we're driving and reads messages on the clothing people wear.

By the way, here she is holding a picture of her yearbook - it's something she can read too!
