So... what do you want on your Tombstone? This is the official pizza of Halloween, which seems fairly obvious - that is, until another pizza company comes along named "Crypt Crust Pizza," or something like that. Mommy found these pizzas yesterday, and at four for ten dollars, that was a nice thing to tuck away for an easy meal on the go. Plus, as a bonus, they've got decorative pictures on the front. Madison is hoisting up the Wolfman gnawing on a pizza, and the other package features a very hungry skeleton. This presents a certain irony when you stop to think about it... so you probably shouldn't.
Busy, busy day again. Madison enjoyed school, piano and ballet - and then came home. We had plans to go to the library tonight for pajama story time, but a few things stopped us:
1. We were tired.
2. I called, and nobody at the library knew what story it was.
3. Madison needs a bath.
4. We were tired.
5. We wanted to watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" instead.
Although you really tend to side with Sally on this one (she missed out on the trick-or-treating experience), there is still something to be said for spending the night in a pumpkin patch with someone you love. It wasn't Halloween, but a few years ago we went down to an island in the middle of the night - the lake levels were so low that we were able to sneak across on a land bridge to a place we hadn't been to before. We were curious, it was dark and we were all together - the whole family out for a spooky trip under the full moon. We were making up a story as we went a long, about "Old Goat Man Island," and although the details are forgotten about what that even means, today the island is still called "Old Goat Man Island." At least to us. Seriously though, the island has no official name - maybe we can get someone to work on that...
