Daddy and Madison were fooling around with the camera a bit here - we left the shutter open a little longer: Madison stayed still with a blanket over her head, and then after about two seconds, she ran off to the side. The end result is an apparition!
Today was a day of rest for us, although when Madison gets home that rest time is clearly over! It was Columbus Day, which explains a wasted trip to the library (we just returned the books, but the place was closed). Still, we made time for piano practice and homework. And Scooby Doo. And a few more chapters of the fairy adventure. We're actually almost done with that one, really.
At one moment today on the way to the library, Daddy heard Madison talking to herself in the back seat. I thought she was telling herself another made-up story, so I asked her what she was saying. That's when she got on to me: "Daddy, I'm praying!" Daddy was pleasantly surprised by this admission - and afterwards even more so: Madison let me know that "God lives in my heart." She learned that yesterday in KidPak Jr., which was just amazing. Very happy to have Madison with a strong spiritual foundation, obviously.
We spent the day again recovering from a new series, but everyone is okay - just a little tired. No games tonight, in fact. When we were listening to the story this evening, Madison was looking a little sleepy - in fact, she fell asleep immediately after we said goodnight to her. Precious!
