Work Day

Madison had a great day today, but most of it was at work. She likes coming in because it is fun to hang out with the guys and tackle each one, knocking 'em down one at a time! She'll wear them all out and still be ready to attack more - if only they could bottle this sort of energy.

Of course, the rest of us are not feeling terribly energetic because of all the work we've been doing on this new series. It should be exciting and new, and a great occasion for the kids. It is a lot of work though. Today, for example, we've been working from early in the morning, still writing scripts - to late into the evening, still working on video material.

Through it all, Madison hangs out at the office with us, playing with the other workers or helping Mommy set things up. She's a very good helper, assisting the others with putting together the packages for the kids for handouts, or putting away things or straightening chairs or putting pencils out for the kids. She just wants to help out, too - though when not helping out, she likes to watch movies at church. Daddy has her sit at a computer where she can watch movies like "Robin Hood," "The Lion King" or "Cinderella."

I just found this picture of Madison on the computer at work. We took it while touring a home recently - Madison was looking for Daddy, who was hiding just above her. Suddenly it dawns on her: Daddy is upstairs!

Anyway, tomorrow is a big day, and we'll all try to get a good night's rest so we can do the best we can. It should be a great event!
