Okay, just for fun, here are what's left of our pumpkins from the pumpkin carving party! This was a few weeks ago - we thought it'd be fun to set them out in the woods and let any animals out there enjoy the fruit. Or vegetable. Or whatever a pumpkin is! Anyway, here they are, not quite holding up!
It was a pretty back to normal schedule today. Maddie was at school developing her 35mm film. Not too many came out with this roll of film due to a small error in the developing process, but there were about five good shots that emerged, and Maddie has another chance soon, having learned what not to do. She's probably got all she needs in this first round, and in fact her teacher is understanding of everyone's trial and error, emphasis on the errors.
Here's the official Santa picture for the year. Maddie does a picture with Santa each year, and I find it hilarious that we did this year's Santa picture back in May! This is one of my favorites, as it has a lot of good memories with it. Mom likes the Inn at Christmas Place, and hopefully soon we'll get to stay there again. Until then, this framed picture now goes up with all the other framed pictures of Maddie with Santa - we have them all up on the bookshelves and they look really nice up there.
Maddie had taekwondo tonight, and after that some math homework. We watched a Christmas movie without her, while she was being studious! Still, we did do some reading tonight from "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" and that's been fun to read.
I had a gastro appointment today, and that seemed to go well. I guess? They decided I'm actually getting better, having self-diagnosed the issue and now I don't really need an endoscopy. Which again should be called a startoscopy. Speaking of which, I've got a little procedure coming up in December, so yikes.
Anyway, it was a good day. We got to bed after prayers, and we'll have another nice day tomorrow!
