Busy night tonight - we had all kinds of games set up tonight for the kids at KidPak. Something over 250 showed up, and they were ready for the gaming truck, which you can see above, plus laser tag, nerf mazes, and all kinds of other games. It was a little chaotic, but it was fun. I took these pictures above with the new camera Mom got me for my birthday, and it's taking a little bit of getting used to, but it's working out wonderfully.
Maddie was at taekwondo for both classes tonight, and they were helping each other as everyone trained for tournaments upcoming. She had a great time. I was driving her to the studio, then back to the church, and then to the studio again to pick her up, and back to the church. This morning I was driving Nana to the dentist down in Alpharetta too, so we had all kinds of taxi service today. One perk to the trip down there was a stop at Cracker Barrel for lunch. Mom likes to look around the gift shop area afterwards, as they have some nice things to look at there. We picked up a few items for Christmas, and some extra candy too. The meal was nice too, and it appears as if things are almost back to normal from the employment situation a year or so ago, when nobody wanted to go to work anymore. That created an entire year where we had a shortage of cooks and waitresses, and all kinds of extended wait times and spacing issues and mask questions and just a weird "lets go out to eat" experience for everyone. It was nice to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about all that this time. Also, I still remember how to solve the peg game in one go, so there's that!
We still made time to read tonight, and after that said our prayers and got to sleep. It was a tiresome sort of day, and I was quite ready for it. But we have more to do tomorrow, and that's just fine!
