Dancer Costumes

Ah, the dancing costumes came in today, although not at all the sizes we ordered.  Mom will have to do some reparations, as these took three or four weeks to get to us, and we might be out of time to reorder these before the Christmas production.   We took this photo to send to our friend Dawn, the choreographer, and that was the primary purpose of the picture.  But it was just fun dressing Maddie up in this little costume.

It was another youth night tonight - I dropped Maddie off at the church, and on the way we saw this amazingly huge full moon slowly rising over the horizon.  It was impressive - we dropped Maddie off, and then got back home to watch another Hallmark movie while Maddie was enjoying another night at FCY.

We did get this book recently, and it's one based on a podcast we listen to each year at this time, one called "Christmas Past."  It's a great Christmas tradition, listening to this podcast each year, and this book is a nice addition.  I'll probably be reading chapters of this each night before bed coming up soon.  We sort of know some of these stories, having heard the podcast, but it'll be great revisiting these background stories again.

It was a nice night - we're doing so much writing today, so much work.  It's been tough keeping up with the blog, but we're catching up a bit here.  We read from our book, said our prayers and were off to sleep as quickly as we could.  Got a lot going on lately!
