Fortune and Glory

Today was all about setting up the new series for tomorrow, "The Quest."

Part of our series premiere was a new jet setting sort of video featuring Daddy as a guy ready for adventure.  Here he is below:

The great thing about the video is Madison's cameo role.  We try to put her in from time to time, and she has a funny part in this one, sort of adding to the madness that happens at the end.  She did great with her line, and had a good time hanging out with us at the film shoot.  It was just upstairs at the entrance of the church, but as you can see above, we changed it to the look of an airport.

This morning, we did have one variation from "The Quest."  That was an encounter with Black Widow.  Yes, we were back at Lowe's again, this time our hometown one in Gainesville.  This was much quieter, no ginormous standby line with parents waiting around.

This was the third of the Avengers craft projects, Black Widow's skycycle.  We had a much easier time with this one than we did with Captain America's motorcycle, and Madison got to do much of the hammering herself on this one.  It still took longer than the average Lowe's project, but when you look at what we created, it wasn't that long at all.  Really, it's a perfect length of time to work on something like that, and of course there's the fact that she has a nice toy/souvenir.  We brought it home, and it currently rests next to the Captain America one.  Next up, Hawkeye.  Daddy will hopefully get Madison signed up for that one with the next registration availability.  These classes fill up very fast!

So for the majority of the day, we filmed.  We wrote scripts.  We edited videos.  We found music selections too:  of course we're using the soundtracks from the four Indiana Jones movies.  But we're also using a neat CD we picked up at the Morocco Pavillion, a bit of belly dancing music that will serve as a backdrop to our ongoing adventure.  Also, we'll use some of that didgeridoo music we just recently picked up as well.

Anyway, things are coming together well.  Daddy dropped Madison and Mommy off at the house, and then turned around to go back and continue the effort.  We stayed up pretty late again, but tomorrow is full of promise.  Tomorrow, we begin... The Quest!
