I Want a New Duck

I want a new duck!  This is available at the Cracker Barrel Store, just in time for Christmas!  Festive, and most fowl!  Yes, we were at Cracker Barrel today, this after a visit to the chiropractor.  Nice day today, and the fall selections at the restaurant were there.  I actually enjoyed a turkey dinner plate with stuffing and cranberries and all kinds of Thanksgiving vibes.  Delicious!  

And speaking of which, here's the picture I sent Maddie - which one do you think she chose?  If you guessed "cream soda," you're a winner! She was too.

Nana and Ye-Ye went to see "Les Miserables," the tickets we got for Mom for her birthday a few weeks ago.  They really, really enjoyed it - although their navigation tool took them initially to the City Springs Senior Center, instead of the City Springs Theater!  They still got to the theater in time, and they loved the show.

The weather is cooler, and we were out there riding on the porch.  I'm in the book of Ezekiel for a bit here, a deeper study.  I'm loving this Perry Stone Bible very much.

We're counting down the days until our mini fall vacation here.  I'm walking virtually around Niagara Falls still, although the POV videos I'm watching now are more related to Disney Cruise tips and so forth.  Just getting into the spirit of things!

We read as always tonight before bed.  The Braves lost tonight, but this week is already settled and these games don't mean as much to the team.  They're just getting ready for the playoffs, which is a zany picture for some teams that haven't quite clinched their spots yet.  Anyway, our reading from "The Thief of Time" has been fun each night, and then... time for prayers, and sleep!
