Mom makes these really amazing gluten-free cinnamon rolls, and they are so delicious! These won't be here for long, so I snapped a quick picture of them. This morning we were talking about the cinnamon rolls at Dollywood, and so we naturally had to just make a version of them here.
Maddie was at school today, and the sun was shining super warm this week just as a goodbye gift, or at least something to be grateful for when it's all over with and fall is here. We were finishing up November's booklet today, and that's way in advance and pretty cool. We're also ordering inflatable duck costumes for our friend Ansley as she goes out to greet at KidPak this weekend.
I'm nearing the end of the loop on the virtual walk through Yellowstone, with maybe a week left or so. It's been good watching all these POV hikes through different trails and pathways all over the park, some small and quiet and others with grand views and excitement from thermal water features.
Maddie had her Team Edge practice, and we watched the Braves win a comfortable game for once, a 9-0 victory that was pretty laid back and chill for once. Usually these things have been tense. Tense is coming up soon though with the close of the season.
It was a quiet day otherwise. We're watching that daily cruise countdown and looking up all kinds of tips and videos here and there to get us excited about the trip. Lots of work to do too, and then the usual seasonal fun is here too. Not this week though - it's a little warm outside to do stuff out there.
Time for some sleep. We read tonight, said our prayers, and got the Plush Entourage back down the hall and into bed. There are so many plush friends now, it's quite a feat to carry them all in one go with two sets of hands. But we manage, and that's part of the challenge. Okay, time for some rest!
