The living room Christmas tree is up and looks great today! It takes a good while to get all this one up and going, with so many ornaments now. This one used to be a little less full, but we keep adding ornaments each year... it won't be long before we need to add a new tree! We've got so many wonderful ornaments, but here below are the ones that we do for KidPak each year, starting with last year's. Each year KidPak does a Fruit of the Spirit themed ornament, and yes, we're doing a new one this year - I'll share that picture soon when we get it on the tree. But in the meantime, here are the previous years:
Maddie had a big day with the college, helping out with Free Chapel College Preview Day. Remember that one? Anyway, she was helping set things up - and take things down, and just being a friendly face to greet all the new families coming to check out the college.
When she got home, it was straight to the puzzle! Yeah, of course there was eating and so forth. And a bit of work in marketing. But this puzzle is getting closer and closer to being done.
We went to taekwondo tonight, where Maddie was helping out with the younger students again. I was finishing up a fun new skit, and it looks like I'm going to be doing a corn-themed version of King Nebuchadnezzar, with is yes, weird.
Tonight's Christmas movie: "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms," which is one of my favorites. Afterwards, we were ready for reading and bedtime prayers. It was a good day today.
