Thanksgiving Eve! We were putting place settings out today and doing quite a bit of prep, even late into the night.
I did have to drop by the church for a small window. Maddie and I were checking out the decorations while there. We got a few things done, setting up somewhat for Sunday. But we also picked up an inflatable friend that you'll see tomorrow.
The Toy Drive is set up and ready to go. We've purchased a few things to donate this Sunday when we arrive. After we left the church, it was time to do some driving! Maddie drove us around the Mundy Mill community for about an hour tonight, and it was fun seeing all the lights while Maddie was getting the hang of the new car.
Oh, and here's something else I was doing this morning:
The virtual marathon is still ongoing. I'm at about 80% done with the path, and nearly done with the journey here. There was a sale for other virtual races, so I actually signed up another one upcoming, something I'll probably do in February, actually.
Oh, and look what we had for breakfast today! Mom had a great skillet breakfast prepared that was just delicious! What a nice meal! It was great fuel for our day of preparation - we were playing Christmas vinyl records all day long as we cleaned up the house, putting out decorations, and just getting things all lined up for a good day tomorrow.
Tonight we saw "Home Alone 2," before bedtime. We read from "Hogfather," said our prayers... did some more setting up... and eventually... eventually... got to sleep.
