Daddy Daughter Pics

We got the pictures back from the Daddy Daughter Date Night at Chick-Fil-A, and they turned out rather nice actually.  Daddy always considers bringing a camera to this sort of thing, but then we remembered they take pictures of you there.  And while sometimes the pictures are printed there on the spot, this time they were emailed to us, which despite the delay is actually more appreciated.  It just means we're not taking a smaller photograph and scanning it.  The quality is better this way.  And again, it turned out nicely.  We had a nice time!  Madison is still reading her book that she got that night, the one with more questions to quiz your father about.

It was a full day today, of course with a bit of piano class tonight.  We talked with Mrs. Pam tonight afterwards, and her house is coming back into order, just about now.  Her own piano is back in her house, and things are coming along.  Similarly, they are for Ye-Ye and Nana, and their house as well. We know of another family that lost the roof of their house on September 11th, when Hurricane Irma came by.  Now, five months later, things are almost there.  Almost there.

It's been chilly outside, but with all the precipitation due, there's no threat of snow or ice.  Madison spent her time leading up to piano, working on homework, working on piano, and working on her tomb raiding skills.  Daddy and she were using flame throwers to battle weird creatures, which of course is perfect bonding time.

We continued to read tonight, from the devotional and our current book, which has been a great read. We have to get to bed earlier just so we can read more each night, it's been so good.

Afterwards, Mommy and Daddy were watching "Snow White and the Huntsman."  We were exploring the upcoming KidPak theme somewhat, and had heard of this movie a while back.  It was okay.  Surprising that they made a sequel to it - let's just say we probably won't be seeing that one.

We're pretty busy this week with work, work, work.  We have yearbook stuff to design, devotionals and sermon booklets to write, and of course services as well.  The mattress issue is looming, as we need to get one, and plenty of house work to do.  Lots to get done this week, but we're all on it!
