Christmastime is Here

Here's a photo of my two favorite girls, who came to the office today for a visit. It was after school, and a happy visit: Mommy sent a note earlier that said, "I feel like Red Lobster." And so we treated ourselves to a very nice lunch. It was pretty big - in fact, it was so big that Daddy was eating leftover clams, scallops and fish at dinner time! Seriously, it was nice to take some time away from the office, and spend some time with family.

Later on in the evening, it was time for our annual tradition: the return to the Living Christmas Tree at the 1st Baptist Church. I think I counted 100 singers, including the conductor himself. Also included is a full orchestra and unique lighting - it was a very special evening. The music is always very nice, the voices and harmonies quite beautiful.

We had a nice time together, and even afterwards when we did some Christmas shopping. It was quite a pleasant day actually. We drove down Green Street and saw the decorations on each house, and headed home for a long winter's nap.
