If I could just touch the hem of his garment!

Madison isn't shy about meeting new people, especially Pastor Franklin. Take a look at this video, where she starts chasing the pastor of our church around. Even though he tries to stop at one point, she bonks him from behind as if to say, "don't stop - keep going!"

It's the first day of November - and a chance for all of us to get a little rest. That last week of October is always quite a rush, but oh what fun it is for all of us.

Seriously, can you believe it is November again? It'll be Thanksgiving before you know it, and the big debate is out: when do we officially start watching the Christmas movies and listening to the Christmas music?

Some of our friends like to jump into the Christmas spirit big time, and the earlier the better. For example, Madison knows a friend at Daddy's work who already has his Christmas tree up. Can you believe that? I won't say who it is, because I don't want to embarrass him.

I won't Be saying oR speaking Or even artiCulating or speaKing his name. Nope - not me!

For our household, Christmas season starts soon, but a little more subtly. You have to sort of ease into it! But it does start early - that seems to be the best way to cram in all the wonderful activities that come with the season, without getting all stressed out. For example, this Thursday, we are going back to ride on the Pink Pig. For those of you not from the Atlanta area, that is not a typo.

Last year was Daddy's first time riding the Pink Pig. Together, Madison, Mommy and Daddy went down to Atlanta to enjoy a Christmas season tradition that's been around over fifty five years. I have no idea what riding a pink pig has to do with the Christmas story - I suspect I should maybe look into that a little more before Thursday's blog entry. It was a lot of fun last year, nonetheless, so mark that day on your calendar: I know we will. One reason is that Thursday is the first day the Pink Pig is actually open, and Mommy found a coupon for free rides online!

Now that Madison is three, she's starting to get into all the holidays and odd traditions as never before. Christmas season is going to be the best ever. It'll only keep getting better as the years go by, but this one will be very, very special, so stay tuned!
