Labor Day Weekend

While Daddy plays "keep the balloon in the air" with Madison, Mommy is out getting groceries for a nice outdoor meal tomorrow on the deck.  The weather has been perfect lately, a cooler temperature that lets us know fall is on the way.  The drop in temperature occurred on the very first day of September to let us know a change in seasons is already here.

Madison has her grass skirt on right now.  It's obligatory when watching Lilo & Stitch, even though she's seen it zillions of times.  She picks her own movies, and this is the one she wants to watch again.  And the princess gets her way - as long as it's not Saving Private Ryan.

Today, we went out to eat again with all our friends - and Madison enjoyed being the center of attention, making funny faces.  It's been a full day, between fun at home, fun going out eating and fun this morning at church.  She's such a socialite:  she had to stop and hug the parking lot attendant and high-five one of the security guards before leaving this morning.

We're all due an early night tonight - Sundays tend to drain a lot of energy.

Tomorrow promises to be a nice day, grilling out and enjoying the day together as a family.
