Maddie got a visit from Santa Buc-ee this morning with a pretty nice gift: a new Buc-ee's t-shirt! It's from the Georgia location, and also included was this great Buc-ee's Christmas bag as well.
This afternoon we had our second annual Suno Christmas Song Contest, and it was a lot of fun talking about all the songs we created. There was even an award created for whoever got the best song - we all voted, and my Gingerbread Battle song actually got the highest score, but I told everyone it wasn't really eligible because of I had released it previous to all this for KidPak's video. Camille wound up with the winner for the day, and her song was really really good, a duet with Joseph and Mary, and their prayer together asking for help. There were a lot of other fantastic entries too - this was a lot of fun! Maddie even had a song entered in the competition, one everyone liked too.
Tonight's movie was "A Christmas Story," although I was on the treadmill watching another Christmas movie: "Home Alone: Holiday Heist." We'll have more on all this in a bit.... cold weather on the way, new activities for the book, updates coming soon...
