The Producers

This afternoon we started out our season tickets at City Springs Theater Company with a viewing of "The Producers."  We've kept our season tickets, these three seats at dead center of the mezzanine, front row.  Perfect seating!  This play was huge on Broadway several years ago, and they did a really great job reproducing it here on stage.

City Springs Theater does a really good job with the sets, choreography, music and talent - each show has been really well done thus far.  We had a great time.

Afterwards, we went over to the Jerusalem Bakery for some shawarma, something that's been on Maddie's wish list for quite some time.  It was a nice visit there, and by the time we got home after that, we were a bit tired and ready to close down for the evening.

As a part of our seasonal movie series, we saw "Goosebumps," which is always a fun movie.  Incidentally, I've read through all the Goosebumps books from that collection I picked up at the thrift store a few years ago.  I had all these hard cover books in great condition, and each season I've visited these old stories - ones I've never read before, probably because of the scary covers on them!

Anyway, we got some sleep after that.  We read from the Discworld, and quite a bit, getting closer to solving this mystery.  It seems as if Commander Vimes has it figured out, and hopefully we'll know soon too.  And then it was time for prayers, and a good night's rest.  We have church tomorrow, and it should be a great day!
