United Night

Maddie invited her friend Maddie over, and it was a return to the Mario Kart 64 track, plus a viewing of "Newsies," the stage version.  It's one of Maddie's favorite things to watch.  Mom was there to cook up food for the two again, heating up some hot dogs for a quick meal.  The two went to United Night after this, and that was the night at FCY where all the different campuses converge for a night celebrating the upcoming Forward event.  Things are really hyped up for that event.  There were a lot of students there, and a lot of excitement.  After the worship, there were some on stage games - and after that, the carnival atmosphere outside with slides, rides, and games of chance.  

Maddie and Maddie were there with Nate tonight, the three riding a ride, and then doing a few other things - I was there late, and I hit the target game a few times.  Out of fifteen or so competitors, I kept winning about four times, giving my prizes to others who were trying time and again to get a stuffed animal.  I got something for Maddie's friend tonight, as she wasn't having much luck hitting the target.  

Today I was writing a good bit, getting the booklet done for June largely.  And writing a skit.  Busy day.  And Maddie had a good day too.  We went to bed tonight after reading from the Discworld, and prayers.  Tomorrow's a big day again!
