Forward Orders

We did some filming for Forward today at Braselton - Mom and I were there early, and it was a pretty full day for filming with costuming assistance, and a good bit of acting too.  I'm apparently a character that introduces all the tribes at Forward this year, this sort of insane veteran character that's seen a little too much.  It was a fun and full day there.

Mom and I had lunch at the Cracker Barrel there, and that was nice.  It was relaxing and just a pleasant time together, another lunch date!

We got home to get some things all wrapped up, like adding coolant to the car and doing a bit of grocery shopping for a Memorial Day get together with the grandparents.  I even picked up the Pac-Man themed doughnuts, which are pretty amazing.

I wound up sharing them with Mrs. Harden from Team Edge, although Maddie and I had a pretty good taste of these.  Maddie had a nice day with Nate, and tonight they were at taekwondo of course.  There was some additional training for Team Edge, and afterwards, we dropped Nate off and headed back home.  Mom had been telling me about a Weinermobile race at the Indianapolis 500, and sure enough, the entire thing was posted online so we could watch the event.  

How awesome to see the Slaw Dog Weinermobile pull out a last-minute victory - the hot dog representing the Southeast crossed the finish line for a thrilling end to the race!  It was a really fun event to watch, with a lot of screaming Weinermobile fans.  These are my people, all of them!

We watched an episode of "Loki" after that, and then did our reading from our Kingdom Keepers booklet.  The Keepers have a Chronosphere, which is a time travel device from "Alice Through the Looking Glass," which is pretty cool.  They just might be going back in time soon.  We said our prayers after all that, and then it was time to get some sleep.  Got another big day tomorrow!
