Look at this amazing breakfast Mom made for me. Our diet has changed substantially, and in fact I've lost some pounds - we both have - but it's not about weight loss so much as cleaning out our cells.
Maddie has been doing some drawing lately, spending a good deal of time with her pencils and improving her artistic skills on the paper she has. Of course, her subject matter has been Nate. All kinds of pictures of Nate. And he's been drawing too - he's given her a drawing of herself. So it's been somewhat of an artistic summer, with the two of them refining their drawing skills. Maddie is expanding beyond the subject matter of Nate, and drawing other friends too. We'll share some of these pictures here soon enough.
Tonight, Maddie tried out volunteering at FCY, which is unusual because just last week she was a student at FCY. But here we are, right? Time goes on. Speaking of which, college starts in just a few weeks, and she's been getting ready for that.
Mom and I have been getting things ready at KidPak, moving things about. Check out the "Inside Out" set pieces we have for our stage. Pretty cool!
I'm using some music tracks from the movie, but also from the online game. And the AI is doing some neat things with imagery too.
Meanwhile, tomorrow we're heading to Braselton tomorrow to the warehouse for some straightening out. Today was about getting things done for this weekend, and a little bit for next series. We've arrived at a title for the September series: "Start Your Engines." It's somewhat of a racing theme, and it's a glance at the stories of Elijah and Elisha in 1 Kings and 2 Kings.
We read tonight, and didn't really have time to watch anything of course, because it was a church night. But we did read, moving forward fast through our new book. After that, we said our prayers and got the Plush Entourage down the hall to get tucked in. It was a good day.
