We had a lot of fun with this one, and will be quick to sign up again next time there's an opportunity. You meet so many other nice people, and it's just a great thing.
Earlier, Mom and I had our meeting with the nutritionist online, and things are going just fine so far with our new program. We've been taking supplements and cutting back on carbs, and just getting ready for some more serious dietary changes upcoming. Ironically, the food we were packing today would be on the "off list," meaning not for us. But detox is coming soon, starting with the liver and eventually moving upwards to the brain area. The idea is cellular detox and making healthier cells. We'll see how it goes!
It was a sunny day. This morning we were hunting more juro spiders, and they're getting bigger. And they're starting to show up in huge multitudes. This big nest area popped up overnight on our back deck, the kind to give you nightmares if you have arachnophobia. We got the salt gun and shot about twenty to thirty of them, some of them as long as your pinky. Then, we got a big stick and used it like a spaghetti fork, twirling up all the webs all about the house. It's gross.
Also gross: the caterpillars. Yep, they're starting to crawl all over the place too. They're nearby the preschool, and it's gross over by the door where they keep getting stepped on, green goo all over the place. Ew!
Tonight, Maddie was at taekwondo, and sure enough, they were doing leg sweeps. It's not a taekwondo kind of thing, but they were certainly working on that flexibility. There were sparring matches and there was some work on form too. It was a good night there.
Tonight's movie was "Ferris Bueller," which I know a whole lot of. Many from my generation know a lot of the dialogue from this movie and can quote well over half the movie involuntarily. It's a classic. Maddie hadn't seen it yet, so we watched that movie tonight - surprised by all the language in it, actually. These movies from the 80's... you forget how much language some of them have. Anyway, fun movie.
We read from Ankh-Morpork tonight, as the City Watch is starting to figure out some things in their current mystery. It's been a good book. We prayed after that, and now it's time for some sleep, right? Of course right.
