Back to Braselton

Maddie slept in this morning, and Mom and I went over to Braselton's campus for some light work.  But of course we had to stop for brunch there too, right?

That's our little date each time we go down to Braselton.  We enjoy stopping there for a meal, and then... it was back to work.  We were moving things around in the prop rooms, collecting items and getting others dropped off there.

Maddie had taekwondo tonight, but it was quiet tonight.  Some students had a rank camp this week and testing too, while others are just on vacation.  Summer time sees numbers go down everywhere, but Maddie was there with her friends and they had a good night together.

No rain today.  That's somewhat of a big deal considering the fact that it has rained every single day for the last few weeks.  Things might start drying out somewhat, but we'll see how that goes.  I've been a little under the weather tonight, so we popped in an older movie, "Pan," which wasn't too bad.  It was just a different telling of the Peter Pan story, and we've seen it before, but largely forgot about certain plot points until we were in the midst of watching it again.  Maddie's ready to go back to Neverland with some more of these movies, particularly her favorite, "Peter Pan," from 2003.  Her least favorite version is the recent "Peter Pan & Wendy," which she will not watch again.  Anyway, we might be back in Neverland for a bit, which would be fun.

Tonight we were in the Discworld again, moving our story along with a first appearance of DEATH, and of course that implies some mayhem as well.  We'll see what unfolds as we read on, but it's been good.  But right now, it's time for prayers - and sleep!
