Maddie titled today's entry, and even added a nice picture here:
Maddie knows how to make these origami cranes really well, so she did about twelve of them in her ELA class, at least during a time when they weren't needing to do classwork. She handed them out to friends, because that's what she does.
She was sitting outside with her friends Christina and Alexandra during lunch today, and oh, she had French fries in her early childhood class. It was that kind of day - an early release day. everyone is off of school tomorrow. Even tonight everyone was off from Team Edge, as the previous class was doing their testing. There was, however, one more Team Edge performance that Maddie and her teammates were involved in.
So we showed up for one more of those, and then... we turned around and went home! Tonight's feature movie, because we're doing a video game series, was "Pixels," and it was decent. It had all kinds of 80's retro video game characters in it, so there were some fun call-backs.
We were working on our skit this weekend somewhat, amongst other things: Mom is getting deep in the Easter production work, sewing and assembling different costumes as we work to finalize the cast here or there. No school tomorrow, so we could stay up a little later, although fatigue kept us going to bed at a good time. Still, we read from our devotional and we read from Discworld just a little longer - I think tomorrow we should wrap up the current story there, and then start on a new book. We said our prayers, and all of us fell asleep pretty quick tonight, happy to know we don't really have to set the alarm for tomorrow!
