Sauron's Wireless Antenna

 

Okay, so I pass this antenna frequently, and I'm always wondering what it reminds me of... and then the thought occurred to me:

Yes, it's Sauron's Wireless Antenna.  Yep!  Okay, moving on.  Today was fun.  Certainly quiet compared to the previous week, but we're gearing up to a big event Friday, and of course we've got the last week of October approaching fast.  In that spirit, we saw "Addams Family Values" tonight, the first time in a few years actually.  The bit about Thanksgiving is a lot of fun - and there are a few hilarious lines in there that still crack me up.  Still like the first movie better, but it's been fun hanging out with the Addams Family this week.  

We tried a game tonight, and Maddie was crushing it until the very end.  At least I got the Constance card!  Still, I was sunk fairly early, but that's because we didn't follow the rules as instructed:

Oops.  Don't forget this one!  Still, it was fun.  We'll have to try it again soon.  I had the Haunted Mansion screensaver movie on the screen for some extra atmosphere.

The rest of the day was somewhat quiet.  Maddie was at Free Chapel College of course, and things are going okay there.  She's enjoying the marketing class, and looking at those elective choices that she could be making too.  She's learning a lot, and of course she's learning a lot from the Bible.  She was in a small group studying the book of Luke today, the students all divided to discuss scriptures.  

We prayed tonight after reading.  The Watch is at sea at the moment, in a few different boats and even a submarine.  Things are moving forward, rolling over the waves as everyone heads to Klatch.  New territory!  We got caught up in reading that for a bit, and then said our prayers.  We brought the Plush Entourage back to bed after that, tucking everyone in for a good night's rest.
