This is a picture that AI generated, one based on a photo we took during our cruise - but our family is pictured above as if they were in the Phineas and Ferb universe. The reason for this is fun: there's a surprising new season five of the classic series, and we started watching these and they're amazing. It's a thing amongst all of us at the office, texting back and forth: did you see this one or that? Maddie and Nate are watching the episodes, and it won't be long before we finish the whole season. Of course, it's a shorter season, but it's still a really good one!
Okay, today was a back to normal day of sorts. Of course there was Team Edge practice tonight, and we've been waiting on those digital pictures from the cruise to show up too. Maddie and Nate were down at the pool for a while, and that was fun - later on the weather turned rough though. We've got this series of storms coming through with pounding rain and pretty strong winds. Branches and debris were flying up, up, up in front of us - this updraft was pushing things about as I was driving Nate back to the house, and it was a little creepy to be honest. We were glad to get indoors, and away from trees.
Tonight we watched "Encanto," and remembering a lot of that movie, which we liked. I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of Disney movies in the coming weeks, sort of still riding out that fun little theme. Tonight before bed, we read "Kingdom Keepers" a bit more, and we're discovering how to take Ursula down, which of course is apparent when you watch "The Little Mermaid," but we'll give our characters some grace because the whole story is pretty fantasmic. See what I did there? Anyway, we'll see where this leads, but we should be getting close to finishing it by next week.
After reading, of course we said our prayers. It was time for some sleep - we're still a bit worn out from all that vacation, which is funny. You need a rest from your time of rest!
