Sandbox

Madison enjoyed the day with Mommy, but spent most of it in her sandbox out on the back deck. There's something almost therapeutic about burying your feet in the nice cool sand. She dug trenches and clumped sand together in shapes and patterns - all in the cool of the shade outside. It was a very nice day outside. Daddy wished he could sit there with her, but could only stay for lunch - a nice tasty one that Mommy made for him.

We're gearing up for all kinds of things at the house. First, the clean-up. And next, the packing. Next week, we're heading off for a vacation and everyone is looking forward to the rides, the restaurants, the pools, the resorts, and oh yes: the sand!
