Christmas Shopping

It was a relaxing day today, as we loaded up in the car a little late and hit the road for Cumming, Georgia.

No, that's not a picture of us on the road above - it's a picture of a miniature Christmas village. The reason I've posted it here is because we took Madison by a store called Parson's, so she could see the large Christmas village they have set up there. There are plenty of other neat things there as well - we even got Mommy a Christmas present too. Oh, and also a new Christmas-themed garden flag to hang out in front of the house.

Our initial visit in Cumming, though, was to see Doc Williams again. Madison was thrilled to be at the chiropractor's office once more. She knows the routine so well: she covers up Mommy and Daddy with the little blue blanket when it is time for the massage thingy. She directs us to the spots where we need to be, and she laughs and giggles like crazy when Doc Williams starts working on her. She has such a good time there!

We handed him his Christmas Card for the year (he gets the Godzilla one!), and he enjoyed seeing it. Not many would appreciate that sort of card - it's an "acquired taste!"

Anyway, after that we decided to do a little shopping. Mommy and Daddy went to the store and Madison got to press a whole bunch of buttons on toys that sang and danced Christmas tunes. She has a good time in stores, really.

We found a neat hat for her today while looking around. It was pretty inexpensive, so we picked it up. Madison likes hats and new clothing. She is not shy at all when it comes to trying new things. She put on her red hat when we got home and wore it until bed time!
It was a relaxing day today, though still a little on the chilly side. Everyone was worn out a bit from the weekend, including Madison. She fell asleep easily tonight, and it is a safe bet that Mommy and Daddy will too!
