I made it to Zeb's Cabin, and I'm either just past or about to hit the 50% mark on this Scooby Doo adventure on the treadmill. For a few days, I hadn't received anything, and now all of the sudden I'm getting a postcard, new scenery like the one above, and character profiles for Shaggy and Daphne, as well as a few other things as I move forward along the path. The mystery is unfolding!
Maddie was at Free Chapel College this morning, and that was great as always. She's learning some new programs with media, and she's learning about how someone's background influences decisions and so forth. She's enjoying classes very much, telling stories about her fellow students afterwards on the way home.
My goodness, these apples we picked are so delicious. The Jonagold ones are really good, and adding to the magic, we're enjoying some Bones Apple Cider Doughnut coffee too!
The weather is cooler outside, and it's just gorgeous really. Favorite time of year. We want to work outside, actually. I got Maddie over to taekwondo tonight, and that was great watching them spar and work towards that next belt ranking. She's doing really well there, including the leadership session afterwards.
Tonight's movie was "Chicken Little," a seasonal favorite, and just a funny movie. I laugh out loud at this one each time I see it, and it just brings a joyful glee! So many great lines and moments in there, an underrated favorite.
Okay, time for bed tonight. We read from Discworld, and got to sleep early after a brief prayer. Tomorrow morning is college again, the ol' routine, and also our "on" day for the extra supplements for Mom and myself. We're making plans for the future too - today we got our reservations in place for another Pigeon Forge trip, and we're rolling around the idea of a big celebration for Mom next year on her birthday, back on board a Disney cruise. We'll see how that unfolds. Oh, and also we got tickets for another visit to the Vernardo's Circus, and we'll see about heading over to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for Christmas as well. Lots to look forward to around here!
