So once again we were at the Revival service tonight, and we've been enjoying it quite a bit. Maddie was with us tonight, and the three of us sat together with friends in our seats of late. It was good to be there, the type of message from years before (with a bit of fascinating science, atomic power, and a strong message based on the book of Revelation). It was one of those types of messages I hadn't heard in quite a long time, and it was good for everyone to hear. The response was massive, and the service was unforgettable. We'll continue tomorrow and the next night. Of course, Josh and I were in line afterwards, picking up a few bits of "merch" to support the ministry. Last year we bought the study Bibles, something that we've both been diving into quite a bit for the last year since. I've gone through several books of that Bible over the last year, and I'm currently in the book of Psalms. Anyway, it was good to see our friend evangelist again. As noted before, we've known Perry Stone since the 90's, perhaps somewhere in '96 or '97, during lengthy revivals at that time in our much smaller church building. We've gone to conferences in Tennessee to see him, or sometimes other churches nearby in Georgia. We're partners with that ministry, and others too, but visits such as this are like visits with an old friend.
Maddie had a long day at school, although I did pick her up from school and that made it shorter. But things are back to normal from Homecoming week. She said many students were tired not only from Homecoming weekend's events, but also the Cumming Fair. It'll be a much more quiet week!
We had a late night at church, and after that we quickly got to reading, cleaning up and getting ready for bed. The Plush Entourage was there, and everyone got tucked in quickly for a good night's rest.
