Team Edge had another demonstration tonight for a larger group of students, ones that were there with their parents even. The students were there for testing, so it was a big night. And Team Edge made it bigger with a great performance!
Maddie had another quiet day at school, really winding things down. She was over at Chestatee, and she had something crazy to say, after tomorrow, the next time she'll be over at Chestatee Elementary will be when she walks down the halls as a senior. Yikes! She's making a lot of those comments about being a senior, and I'm not quite ready yet - we'll wait until summer's over before we start using big words like "senior" and "graduation." Although apparently we need to schedule senior photos already. That's coming up soon.
I've been writing for this weekend at KidPak, and Mom's been doing a lot of that work too. We're moving things out of the basement. Also, we got squirrel #79 relocated. There's another acrobat squirrel out there, one that's been knocking over our feeders. He'll be #80. These squirrels keep coming! But there are so many fledglings on our back deck. There's a young thrasher amongst the other baby birds. It's cute watching the parents feed them all.
I was proofing "Castaway Cove" a lot today, and it's pretty much done. We've been watching a few episodes of "Gilligan's Island" for research, and those have been fun. But tonight we closed up with a few episodes of "Monk." In fact, three of them. We closed out the sixth season, and that was a big finale. It's been great revisiting this series so much later, because I don't remember a lot of the content. We vaguely remember this or that, but many times it's just as new to us as it is to Maddie.
We read some more tonight "From a Certain Point of View," and we said our prayers afterwards. It was a good day today.
