We had a nice Pi Day today, and as you can see, we even had a special gluten-free pie to celebrate! Tonight we watched "Night at the Museum 2" again, one reason being because Pi plays a big role in the movie, but also because we hadn't seen these movies in a while. It was a great Pi theme to the morning too, as I was using my college class time to teach them about skit-writing, all while using a pie chart and showing the pie fighting video and even using an acronym for pi. Yep, I'm a nerd. Maddie is too - we plugged in this old independent X-box game called "π,"appropriately enough. At one point, we were able to guess up to the 20th digit of pi, which may seem like no big deal to some of you, but I'll take it nonetheless.
Can you believe we even had a pizza pie for dinner too? Yes, we take Pi Day seriously around these parts. Anyway, it was a good day. School went well, and there was a lot going on at the office too. Easter production stuff, plus the new series Weird Science at KidPak, plus just trying to figure out what to do for a Minecraft skit this weekend. We'll see how it all plays out.
We read tonight, from our devotional and from our recent Discworld adventure. Then it was time for some sleep. It was a nice day today.
