Maddie had youth tonight, and it was a good night together with her friends. She invited another one from school who came along, and although it was a quieter night, it was still super fun. The large service went well, followed by some time hanging out with pizza and small groups.
We were working on a few things at church - some really fun with filming again. Our KidPak online is going to be really great, with some new stuff this season that looks to be a lot of fun. Occasionally we have these strange coincidental meetings with some of our viewers - we were shopping at a grocery store, and two little girls recognized me from watching online. They don't actually go to see KidPak in person, but live in Jacksonville and watch us each Sunday from there. It was amazing to see these kids, and the stories are always so neat. We had a family from Zambia interacting with us for some time, watching all the time, and they actually eventually moved to Gainesville to be here with us. We had one kid recently visit in person, because for the longest time he only watched online and lived a long ways away. He wanted for his birthday - get this - to come and see us in person. Wild!
It was a good day today, and youth has been good too, of course. Soon, there will be a camp that Maddie will go to, and I'm super excited about her going to camp. It was always a great thing for me, and this will be Maddie's first camp. She'll be going in a few weeks. We'll miss out on a few things here, but it will be really worth it.
We got home tonight and we went through another chapter of our book, of course. It was late, so we said our prayers, and got to sleep fairly quickly.
