This is the proper Frankenstein stance. These are the important things a father teaches a child before going off to school. If you're going to march around like Frankenstein's monster, or a zombie, you have to do it right. After a bit of training, I think we've got it down.
Tonight, as soon as Daddy got off of work, it was time for an adventure! Seriously, we all got in the car, and drove to Perry, Georgia. This is about a 2 1/2 hour drive (made three hours by the traffic). Still, we were blessed with a safe and uneventful trip down. Madison played her Kindle's new apps (Angry Birds 2 and Wreck-it Ralph), while Mommy and Daddy listened to music all the way down, down, down through Atlanta, Macon and eventually to Perry.
We found our hotel room somewhere between nine and ten, and pretty much jumped in bed immediately. Mommy and Daddy played some Scrabble before going to sleep, but Madison was out cold pretty quick. Unfortunately, these beds were made by the same folks that make granite table tops, so it was a rough night's sleep.
But, at least we are in Perry and just have to drive down the road to get to the fair tomorrow!
